WeAreVelier operates velierPOS. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you use our websites and services.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed), role, shop affiliation.
- Business data you enter: products, inventory, sales, locations, staff, treasury movements, and similar operational records.
- Payment and billing data processed by our payment providers (e.g. Stripe) for subscriptions and, where enabled, card acceptance and payouts.
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, logs, and cookies or local storage as described in /legal/cookies.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service.
- Communicate about the account, billing, and support.
- Comply with law and enforce our terms.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on jurisdiction, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests (security, analytics at aggregate level), consent where required, and legal obligation.
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We use contracted service providers to host and operate velierPOS. Stripe handles subscription billing, card payments, and payouts when you enable those features (see /legal/payments and /legal/subprocessors). Other infrastructure runs under confidentiality and data-protection terms. We do not sell your personal information.
6. International transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
7. Retention
We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute resolution. Retention periods may vary by data category.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction depending on applicable law (including ARCO-style rights in Mexico where applicable). Contact us using the email below. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.
