Terms of Service

This document is provided for transparency. It does not constitute legal advice. velierPOS is operated by WeAreVelier. Have counsel review these terms for your jurisdiction (United States, Mexico, and others) before relying on them.

1. Agreement

By accessing or using velierPOS (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

2. The Service

velierPOS is a cloud point-of-sale and business management platform (inventory, sales, cash sessions, treasury tools, reporting, and related features). Features available to you depend on your subscription plan and configuration.

3. Accounts and security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and for activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or risk to the Service or other users.

4. Subscription and billing

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing published at /legal/pricing (subject to change with notice as described in your checkout or contract). Trial periods, if offered, are described at signup. Taxes may apply based on your location.

5. Acceptable use

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy at /legal/acceptable-use. Unlawful activity, fraud, malware, or attempts to disrupt the Service are prohibited.

6. Third-party services (e.g. payments)

Card processing and payouts are provided by Stripe when you enable them. Your relationship with Stripe is governed by Stripe’s agreements. See /legal/payments for an overview.

7. Intellectual property

We retain rights in the Service, branding, and software. You retain rights in your business data. You grant us a limited license to host and process your data to operate the Service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or, if none, a nominal cap), except where prohibited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the revised version with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
